MISS UNIVERSE GB 2012
Qute Fashion had an amazing time at Miss Universe GB in Birmingham
this year. We were there as sponsors to Miss Deborah Kolade a fantastic
finalist. Read Deborah’s story here.
Did anyone say ‘Road Trip?’ The day started off as a very long drive
to Birmingham from London! We arrived at the Grand Birmingham Town Hall,
pleasantly greeted and ushered to our seating.
We were so excited to be there and seeing Deborah on stage
representing for London as well as Qute Fashion! DK did an amazing job on the
day and did us very proud, being able to deliver exceptional walk, smile and
grace on the day! What a ★!
The evening started with an opening dance from the lovely girls with DK leading at the front ;) Our girl has moves!
All the girls
looked stunning in their evening wears! Deborah wore a gorgeous emerald green
that fitted nicely to accentuate her figure, with detailed embellishments for a
glamour finish.
The swimwear round
was very impressive; DK donned a print swimsuit (of course). She looked perfect
with a finishing touch of body jewelry.
As the evening drew on and we sipped wine whilst signing along with
Adele’s tribute act, who by the way was very good! I almost thought it was the
real Adele until she was announced as ‘tribute act’.
The intensity of the competition continued as we sat edged forward in
our seats waiting for the top 5 to be announced. The 10 minutes we waited
seemed so much longer. Finally Adele left the stage (not that we weren't enjoying her singing) but we really were anxious about hearing the
announcements for the top 5!
The top 5 was announced and although DK Put up a great competition
on the day, and we and everyone around her sent out positive vibes she
unfortunately did not make the top 5. But nonetheless she is still a winner in
our eyes and we wish her the best of luck for her future endeavors! Also don’t
forget to check out her successful performance company ‘Fame Production Company’
We Congratulate the amazing Holly Hales who is the winner of Miss
Universe GB 2012, Holly will now go on to represent UK at Donald Trump’s Miss Universe.
