to wear the Bun
The bun hair-do has been around for years but now
its time to spice it up a bit. There are so many ways to wear the bun and even
accessories it. Below are some few ideas from our stylist at Qute Fashion
Ballerina bun
How
to get this look:
- Gather your hair into a high ponytail, so its just about in the middle of your head
- Secure it with an elastic holder
- Smooth it with a brush or comb and if you would prefer more volume to your hair, just brush the end of the ponytail.
- Now twist your ponytail and then wrap around the base
- Insert bobby-pins to hold it in place and spray on to give it some gloss or perhaps some holding spray
Braided bun
How to get this look:
- Follow the steps 1-3 in the above step
- Braid the ponytail instead of twisting it
- Wrap the braided hair around the base of the ponytail and secure it with bobby-pins.
For those with shorter hair length:
This hair can also be achieved with the use of some
hair extensions.
Follow the steps 1-3 in the above step
- Once your hair is secured with elastic, you can the add some extensions by braiding it to your hair
- Then wrap it around the base of the ponytail but make sure its extra secured with bobby-pins.
To go a step further....You can add some jewellery to your bun hair-do or most hairdo’s for that matter.
